Shed Manager

The Aquatics Department is looking for responsible and energetic people to serve as Shed Manager in the Aquatics Department. The Shed Manager under the supervision of the Aquatics Director, inventories and orders supplies needed to operate the Outdoor Pools; prepares reports for the Aquatics Director based upon the weekly inventory and pool supply distribution; maintains and distributes pool vacuums and equipment on a per-scheduled basis; maintains effective and open communications with pool managers via cell phone, and responds immediately to emergency requests for vacuums and supplies. The Shed Manager needs to be organized, have the ability to prioritize work, adapt to change quickly, and hold a valid driver's license. New SportsPark Attendant

Columbia Association is seeking customer service-oriented, highly motivated and responsible individuals to join our world-class team as attendants at Columbia SportsPark and SkatePark. Operating year-round with seasonal schedules and opportunities, the SportsPark offers Columbia Association members, guests and residents fun, recreational activities, including mini-golf, batting cages, an arcade, a snack bar, and the SkatePark. The SportsPark attendant's primary areas of responsibility will be providing excellent customer service, keeping the facility and outdoor areas clean, enforcing rules to ensure customer safety, performing basic maintenance tasks, selling items and programs to customers, hosting birthday parties, and completing specified training courses. Additional responsibilities include monitoring the batting cages, mini-golf and SkatePark. This position involves manual labor and public interaction in various weather conditions including sun, rain, heat, snow, and cold. Educational requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. Assistant Manager

Ice Rink Maintenance Manager

Ice Rink Maintenance Manager Full Time Columbia Ice Rink is seeking a team-oriented Ice Rink Maintenance Manager. Reporting directly to the Ice Rink General Manager, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing a variety of special tasks/projects at the Ice Rink, including maintaining the ice through a series of quality control checks, equipment operation, preventative maintenance, record and log keeping; administrative and operational duties; and training team members. This position also assists the General Manager in the overall supervising and promotion of a customer service-oriented team. Applicants must have a valid Class C driver’s license; refrigeration certification and high-school diploma or equivalent; and be at least 21 years old. A minimum of two years of supervisory experience is required, and the candidate will be required to complete CA training workshops and courses in operating the ice-resurfacing machine (Zamboni) within two months. Candidates must have the ability to establish and maintain positive, team-oriented, cooperative working relationships with team members with all of CA’s departments, members, guests and the community at large.
