New Lifeguard Wilde Lake Cluster

Wilde Lake Cluster (Bryant Woods and Faulkner Ridge Pools) – A Lifeguard candidate must be 15 years old, mature in judgment, friendly, and able to pass a water screening which tests swimming ability. You should also know that the Columbia Association will arrange for your lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid training if you are hired. If your birthday is on or before May 28, you can interview for a position as a Lifeguard. The water screening consists of the following: 200-yard swim without resting 2-minutes treading water while holding both hands out of the water Retrieve a 10 pound diving brick from a minimum depth of 8 feet of water or the deepest part of the pool(up to 12feet), and bring it to the surface. We will contact only those we wish to interview.

New SportsPark Attendant

Columbia Association is seeking customer service-oriented, highly motivated and responsible individuals to join our world-class team as attendants at Columbia SportsPark and SkatePark. Operating year-round with seasonal schedules and opportunities, the SportsPark offers Columbia Association members, guests and residents fun, recreational activities, including mini-golf, batting cages, an arcade, a snack bar, and the SkatePark. The SportsPark attendant's primary areas of responsibility will be providing excellent customer service, keeping the facility and outdoor areas clean, enforcing rules to ensure customer safety, performing basic maintenance tasks, selling items and programs to customers, hosting birthday parties, and completing specified training courses. Additional responsibilities include monitoring the batting cages, mini-golf and SkatePark. This position involves manual labor and public interaction in various weather conditions including sun, rain, heat, snow, and cold. Educational requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. Candidate must have the ability to establish and maintain positive, team-oriented, cooperative working relationships with team members in all CA’s departments, members, guests and the community at large. Individual must also be organized and good with logistics. SportsPark Manager on Duty

You will supervise a shift of team members in an outdoor recreational atmosphere.
